The intent of this video is to clarify and assist in the integration and installation of the streamer and encoder together.
Even in private networks where the use of the public encoder is not possible
This tutorial will show you how to create a web server to have your own video sharing site, most importantly, we will teach you how to do it without spending no money
To host the site, we recommend use Amazon's Amazon Web Services (AWS). At least as of today, April 2017, they are not charging anything to give us a Linux Virtual Machine.
Some users some times change a file, and can not do a git pull command, usually they get this error:
... Please, commit your changes or stash them before you can merge. Aborting
the solution is to force to overwrite your files, you can do this command.
What we will do on this video
1. Download a file from Youtube
2. Enable Facebook login
3. Login with my Facebook user
4. Go back to Admin Create a Group (to link a user and make a video private)
5. Make my facebook login part of the created Group
6. Back on video manager and make the video available only
for the specific Group Users
7. Test the privacy
a) Create a test user to see if othe users can see the private video
b) test if logout user can see the private video
As promised, we have created an account and installed YouPHPTube at https://www.000webhost.com
000webhost.com ($0.00 webhost) is a world leader in providing first class FREE web hosting services with no advertising & without any costs!
Since 000WebHost does not give us ssh or root access. It is mandatory for the encoder to be hosted somewhere else, or you can use our public encoder (https://encoder.youphptube.com/).
Gallery is now a plugin, this tutorial is obsolete.
This tutorial will show you how to change the first page of YouPHPTube to show a video gallery, instead a video player.
Also will show you how to set a video to work like an Independent Video Advertising System. that will play before any video in the same category.
Sometimes our user is not an administrator of our encoder. this can happen for several reasons, but the solution is simple, just run the makeAdmin.php script
